Allyssa Martinez

Program Specialist 2

Allyssa Martinez is a proud first-generation college student from Moses Lake, Washington. A graduate of Moses Lake High School, she went to earn her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Eastern Washington University. Currently she is pursuing her master’s degree in social work as a dedicated graduate student. A former TRIO participant, Allyssa is passionate about giving back and is excited to continue supporting students at Big Bend Community College.

Fun fact: In her free time, Allyssa enjoys reading, watching movies, and drinking endless amounts of coffee.

Astrid Chen

Astrid Chen, BA, holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Eastern Washington University and a Master’s Degree in Social Work, MSW, from Grand Canyon University. Astrid is also a former participant in the TRIO Upward Bound at BBCC! Her areas of expertise include: academic advising, transfer support, financial aid and scholarship assistance.

Jasmine is an alumnus of BBCC, as well as a former participant of the TRIO-Student Support Service and Upward Bound Programs. Alma Guzman earned her Bachelor of Science in Social Services and a Master of Higher Education from Central Washington University and is also an alumnus of BBBC. She is passionate about providing students with guidance and support.
